Apex Well Servicing is currently looking for a full time Shop Hand and Hot oiler assistant, to join our team. These positions will be based out of Grande Prairie and may require some travel and on-call work .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the shop supervisor with breaking down, inspecting, and reassembling tools
Performing safety checks on equipment, tools and vehicles as well as assisting in safety maintenance records
General shop duties including maintenance, cleaning, organizing, assist in inventory control
Pick up/deliver supplies, tools or equipment
Job organizing and load outs
Maintaining proper paperwork related to the position
Additional duties as assigned supervisor

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
Proper use of PPE (training provided)
Communication and ability to work in a team environment and on your own
Understand and perform work following instructions and safe operating procedures




Excellent organization and time management skills

Qualifications / Education / Experience:
Valid and clean driver’s license;
Valid H2S and First Aid (Asset but not required);
Loader ticket considered an asset;
A suitable combination of education and experience

Working Conditions and Physical Environment:
Moderate physical effort; occasional heavy lifting
Extensive periods of sitting, standing, walking, and driving
Exposed to working in a high noise workplace
Normal working day consists of 8 hours; however occasional overtime may be required
