Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities. This position requires a solid commitment to providing a clean and safe workplace for all employees and visitors.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces in our store and restaurant.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, showers, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to uphold facility standards.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas that require attention or maintenance.
Ensure the outside property is maintained including Displays, Pumps, Snow removal and yard work.
Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall upkeep of the building.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Shipping and receiving. Maintenance of stock areas. Some stocking.
Shovelling Snow in the Winter, and Cutting Grass in the Spring and Summer.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Positive communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
