BMD Transportation is a family owned and operated asset based carrier. We are currently seeking a AZ flatbed driver to work from our Dundas and Coopers Ave, ON yard delivering customer product to locations and jobs sites throughout the Greater Golden Horseshoe area

Responsibilities:
Operate a manual truck and 53' step deck trailer adhering to all safety requirements
Perform inspections of tractor trailer unit before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
Completing all applicable paperwork.
Maintain up-to-date Driver Log throughout the duration of each shift.
Responsible for communicating with Dispatch.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a skilled manner




Be able to perform physical work (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
Observe and comply with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
Secure and unsecure loads using straps and chains

Position Requirements:
Valid A/Z driver’s license
Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor & flat/step driving experience
Clean CVOR
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to accommodate different start times
Ability to work 50+ hours/week

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
