Looking for a Thursdays Dental Assistant 10am to 7pm.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an prospect to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on both general and specialized dentistry, including orthodontics and pediatrics. Prior experience with dental software Dentrix is preferred, along with familiarity itero scanning.

Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including root canals.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs using dexis
Help doctors typing with notes templates in Dentrix
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits.




Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety

Skills
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals.
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in dental assisting certification is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
