Skilled Pet Sitter / Dog Walker

As a dog walker and pet sitter, you would provide occasional drop-in visits and dog walks for our clients in their homes. There is a lot of variability in our work, as every pet and every family has different needs. This role requires a lot of driving and a varying schedule with no guaranteed hours.

This Position Will be a Good Fit For You If:
You are an animal lover who wants to be outdoors and active
You enjoy working independently and have excellent time management skills
You are able to service clients in the Chilliwack area
You don't mind yucky smells, untrained dogs, or cleaning potty accidents

This Position May NOT Be a Good Fit If:
You need a consistent schedule
You are looking for a primary income source
You don't enjoy being outdoors or being covered in dog hair

This is a great job for retirees, at-home parents, and college students





You must be consistently available between 10 am and 2 pm at least three days a week to be considered for this position.

This is not regular work - you should have a separate, reliable source of income.

Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Comfortable handling dogs up to 80 lbs
Available between 11 am and 2 pm at least 3x each week
Able to pass a background check
Physically able to walk multiple dogs daily
Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 30 miles
Smartphone with data plan
Have the ability to react quickly, solve problems by thinking on your feet

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
