Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and supervision to individuals in a residential setting, helping them develop independence and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate is empathetic, responsible, and experienced in supervising others, with a solid commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote residents’ well-being and independence
Supervise residents during activities, outings, and free time to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and supervisors
Monitor residents’ progress and report any concerns or incidents promptly
Maintain accurate documentation of resident interactions, activities, and progress




Enforce house rules and safety protocols consistently to create a secure workplace
Support residents in developing life skills through coaching and positive reinforcement

Skills
Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to oversee others effectively
Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations while providing guidance and support
Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and following care plans
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in helping individuals achieve their goals
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented team
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the residential setting

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
Class 4 Licence (required)
