Gear Power is looking for skilled and motivated technicians to join our team in Mississauga!
Our service centre specializes in the installation and repair of truck-mounted hydraulic systems, SPIF axle systems, wheelbase alterations, snow and ice control equipment and installation of dump bodies. This is an exciting chance to work with a variety of truck modifications and service solutions in a agile, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on trucks.
Install and service hydraulic systems, including custom truck hydraulics for various applications.
Install SPIF axle systems.
Modify wheelbases to suit customer requirements and specifications.
Work with snow and ice control equipment, ensuring proper functionality and maintenance.
Install and maintain dump bodies, including related hydraulic systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure all repairs and installations meet safety and performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and installations.
Ensure compliance with all company and safety standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years experience working as a Truck Technician OR one of the following credentials: 310S, 310T, 310J, 433A
You have your own tools
Passionate about being a Technician
Able to lift up to 50lbs
You are dependable, reliable, and able to work in a team environment
Robust diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Monday - Friday: 8AM - 4PM, 4PM - Midnight

Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
