Class 1, Frac Driver

Nisku, AB | Full-Time | Permanent. Rene Transport is hiring experienced Class 1 Frac Sand / Super B Drivers based out of Nisku, Alberta. We are looking for qualified, safety-focused drivers with solid Super B and off-road/oilfield experience who are comfortable working in the oilfield during frac season and transitioning to highway freight during slower periods. Our drivers haul throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan using well-maintained equipment and dedicated units.

When frac activity slows, drivers transition to general highway freight to help maintain steady work and income rather than sitting at home.

Frac Season
Out-of-town work
Drivers may be away for up to 3 weeks at a time

Highway Work
Trips are typically up to 5 days away from home

Requirements




Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Minimum 2 years of Super B experience
Minimum 2 years of off-road / oilfield driving experience
Knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations
Experience completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Experience driving in winter and mountain conditions
Chain-up experience is considered an asset
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
