Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice, providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with dental software systems such as Akitu One. Experience in Endodontics, Pediatrics with CAD technology is a plus. This role offers an opportunity to work in a rapid-paced environment where attention to detail and compassion are essential.

Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records accurately using Akitu One software systems
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed




Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and assisting with age-specific procedures

Requirements
Certification or experience in dental assisting preferred; knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Akitu One
Experience or training in orthodontics or pediatrics is desirable
Basic understanding of CAD for digital imaging or restorations is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical setting
Qualified demeanor with excellent organizational skills
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service within healthcare settings is beneficial
Weekend availability

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
