Tradesman / Handyman / Renovator – Contract

Elite Smart Homes is a growing smart home and renovation company delivering high-end residential projects across Toronto. We're looking for a hands-on tradesman/woman or handyman with a strong finishing background to join our small, skilled team on a contract basis.

No smart home experience? No problem — we'll train you. You'll always be working alongside experienced team members who are there to demonstrate, coach, and support you as you grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Finishing & Carpentry (Primary Focus)
Baseboard and trim installation — clean cuts, tight joints, professional results
Caulking and sealing — doors, windows, trim, and transitions
Painting — walls, trim, touch-ups, and full-room finishes
General finish carpentry and detail work

General Site Work
Drywall installation and repairs
Furniture, vanity, and shelving assembly
Assisting with smart home device installs (TV mounting, cable management, device rough-in)
Site prep, floor protection, masking, and end-of-day cleanup
Maintaining a clean, organized work environment throughout the day — we work primarily in occupied,



finished homes and hold ourselves to a high standard
Additional tasks as required to support project completion

REQUIREMENTS
At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience — ideally with a focus on finishing carpentry, trim, or painting
Own basic hand tools (power tools and specialty tools provided)
Reliable transportation to get to job sites independently
Comfortable working in occupied, finished homes — professional, tidy, and respectful on site at all times
Able to take direction, follow a task schedule, and work as part of a small team
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
