Key Responsibilities
Must be available mornings and/or evenings
Lead a variety of group fitness classes such as Spinning, HIIT, bootcamps, strength training, conditioning, yoga, and Pilates
Arrive 10–15 minutes before class to engage with members, answer questions, and welcome recent participants
Identify and support first-time participants, assessing fitness levels in a respectful and private manner
Deliver clear, effective instruction while maintaining an engaging and secure class environment
Monitor participants to ensure proper form and provide modifications for different fitness levels
Ensure all equipment is safe and set up properly for class use




Set up and dismantle audio/visual equipment as needed
Encourage member participation and promote group fitness programs

Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience leading group fitness classes
Strong understanding of exercise techniques, group fitness principles, and basic anatomy
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Professional, organized, and self-motivated
Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment
Group Fitness Certification (BCRPA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent)
Current First Aid / CPR certification
