What You'll Do
Install, repair, and maintain commercial flat roofing systems
Work with: SBS modified bitumen (torch-applied), Self-adhered roofing systems, TPO (experience considered an asset)
Install insulation, cover boards, vapour barriers, and roofing membranes
Flash penetrations, drains, parapets, curbs, and rooftop equipment
Safely operate roofing tools and equipment
Read drawings and follow project specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected job site
Work effectively as part of a skilled crew
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 3 years of commercial flat roofing experience
Experience installing SBS roofing systems
Ability to work safely at heights
Reliable transportation to job sites or shop
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Physically capable of lifting materials and working outdoors
Valid driver's licence
Assets
TPO or EPDM installation experience
Working at Heights certification
Fall Protection certification
First Aid/CPR
Leadership or foreman experience
