We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Bartender to lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring smooth day-to-day bar operations. The ideal candidate has strong cocktail knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
Assist in supervising bartenders and supporting servers when needed.
Train and mentor new bartenders and ensure bar standards are followed.
Open and close the bar, including cash reconciliation and shift reports.
Maintain inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages.
Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
Verify guest identification and follow all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Prepare garnishes, syrups, and bar mixes as required.
Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Work closely with management to improve service, sales, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate POS transactions and cash handling procedures.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of bartending experience.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced workplace.
Smart Serve certification (required in Ontario).
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
