Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
Prepare financial statements and assist with auditing processes
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Support budgeting and forecasting activities for various departments
Process payroll accurately and timely using payroll systems integrated with accounting platforms




Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and supporting documentation
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting efficiency

Requirements
Proven experience in bookkeeping, corporate finance, or related accounting roles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft
Robust understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes
Knowledge of auditing standards and financial services regulations
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and budgeting tasks
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Experience with payroll processing is preferred
Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and systems in a fast-paced environment
