Job OverviewThe Department of Pediatrics at CHEO, University of Ottawa is recruiting a full‐time pediatric neurologist within the Division of Neurology.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical care for children and youth in inpatient and outpatient settings, including general neurology and specialized clinics in epilepsy, sleep, white‐matter disorders, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.Offer on‐call coverage.Engage in academic research and contribute to educational activities, including resident and fellowship training.Participate in the Department's active residency and fellowship programs.Qualifications and ExperienceMD and eligibility for licensing in Ontario.Royal College (Neurology) certification or equivalent; subspecialty training in Pediatric Epilepsy is preferred.Certification in EEG with the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN)
or American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.Interest and experience in research and education.English as primary language; functional French is anasset.Preference given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.Academic AppointmentThe successful candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment in the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.Perks & Working EnvironmentCHEO is a global leader in pediatric health care and research.
