Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff Member. We are looking for someone with experience preparing Arab and Egyptian food who is reliable, flexible, and passionate about delivering high-quality meals.

In this role, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, packaging, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant workplace and is available to work weekends and on-call shifts during the week.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
Assist with preparing traditional Arab and Egyptian dishes
Plate and garnish meals carefully and consistently
Assemble, portion, and package takeout and delivery orders
Maintain clean kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas
Follow proper food storage, handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Support front-of-house staff by preparing orders accurately and on time
Complete multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods




Follow all restaurant health and safety requirements

Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is required
Experience preparing Arab, Egyptian, or Middle Eastern cuisine is strongly preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Robust teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Must be available to work weekends
Must have adaptable availability and be willing to work on-call during the week
Having a driver’s licence and reliable transportation to the restaurant is preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed
