Duties
Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various marine engines, propulsion systems, and onboard equipment
Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components with precision
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations to ensure vessel reliability
Diagnose mechanical issues using technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vessel
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair procedures




Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades on marine vessels as needed

Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in marine or similar heavy machinery environments
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential for performing repairs effectively
Prior experience working on marine engines or propulsion systems is highly desirable
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports clearly and accurately
Solid problem-solving skills with an active approach to troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $21.14-$43.55 per hour
