About MightyBird

MightyBird is a fast-paced quick-service restaurant specializing in bold, flavourful chicken dishes. We are looking for a dependable and energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Union Station.

Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not required. We are happy to train applicants who have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to MightyBird’s recipes and quality standards
Set up and maintain an organized workstation
Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures
Prepare ingredients and complete daily kitchen prep
Assemble orders accurately and efficiently
Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product quality
Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
Keep kitchen equipment, counters, floors, and storage areas clean
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Support the team during busy lunch, dinner, and event periods




Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications
Kitchen or line-cook experience is an asset but not required
Food Handler Certification is an asset
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
Able to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and order accuracy
Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs
Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
