Position Summary:
Gain invaluable clinical experience and fulfill BCACC's practicum requirements by joining our team as a Clinical Psychological Counselling Intern. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on exposure to a variety of counselling modalities, including EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and neurofeedback. Work under the supervision of an experienced counsellor and gain insights into working with individuals, couples, and families.
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Observe and learn from experienced clinicians
Participate in case discussions and supervision
Contribute to research projects and data analysis
Administer psychological assessments
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Qualifications:
Graduate student in psychology, counselling, or a related field
Strong interest in clinical psychology and mental health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to ethical principles and professional standards
