Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard working and motivated individual to join our team as a Horizontal Directional Driller! This position would require you to be a problem solver, self sufficient with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Qualifications
Can Operate a Horizontal Directional Drill
Can Operate a HDD Locating box
Construction background/Experience
Experienced with underground utilities work
Detail Orientated
Problem-Solving Skills
Strong Communication
Organizational Skills

Responsibilities
Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a protected working setting
Monitor drilling progress and adjust equipment as necessary
Understanding fibre optics installation
Maintain drilling equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective drilling operations
Maintaining a variety of documentation including but not limited to accident or incident reports, driver logbook,



inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance/ repair reports and trip reports

Pay

$30 - $42/hour, depending on experience.
