The successful applicant will be responsible for food preparation and counter service as well as general deli counter duties.There are part- and full- time positions available as well as day and evening shifts.

Education/Certificates -

Completion of college in food related field, Current first aid, Food Protected Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate would all be considered assets.

Responsibilities:
Providing superior front
end service to customers from ourhot case
Preparing, packing and displaying deli meats and foods
Rotating stock
Merchandising products in store display cases
Cleaning and sanitizing the work area
Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to ourvalued customers.

Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills:

Prepare, heat and finish straightforward food items, Use manual and electrical appliance to clean, peel, sliceand trim food stuffs, Portion and wrap foods, Package take-out food, Stock refrigerator and salad bars, Keep records of the quantities of food used.

Kitchen Helping Skills:

Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surface, cupboards, storage areas,appliances and equipment.
