We are seeking an experienced Flood Restoration Technician / Supervisor to work on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an individual who can independently manage restoration projects while maintaining exceptional customer service and workmanship.
Responsibilities
Respond to emergency water damage and basement flooding projects.
Assess water damage and determine the scope of work.
Lead and supervise restoration crews in office.
Perform water extraction and structural drying.
Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment.
Remove damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, and other affected materials.
Document projects with photographs, moisture readings, and daily progress reports.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of water damage restoration or disaster recovery experience.
Experience supervising restoration crews.
IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification preferred.
Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification is an asset.
Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate restoration equipment and moisture detection tools.
