Preschool Canada Whitby Campus is hiring Registered Early Childhood Educators & Early Childhood Assistants. Candidates must have knowledge of the following:
Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and providing opportunities to express creativity
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
Make daily observations and observe children for sign of potential learning
Knowledge of the Early Years Act
Knowledge of Emergent Curriculum
Knowledge of E.L.E.C.T. document
Knowledge of licensing regulations




Establish guidelines for behaviour
Plan and maintain an setting that protects the health, safety, and well-being of the children
Establish and maintain team-oriented relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Assess the abilities, interests, and need of the children and discuss progress or concerns with parents and other staff members

Pay: $25.86 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Childcare: 3 years (required)
