Part time Housekeeper – Days Inn Chetwynd can lead to full time in near future
Days Inn Chetwynd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain the high cleanliness standards our guests expect.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand and hotel cleanliness standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms
Restock room supplies including towels, toiletries, and linens
Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management promptly
Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobby, and laundry facilities
Follow all health, safety, and WHMIS guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals
Maintain confidentiality and respect guest and staff privacy at all times
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required — full training provided
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Availability
This is a part time position with morning shifts only. Shifts are scheduled across all 7 days of the week (Monday–Sunday), including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis. Shift times and days will vary depending on hotel needs and occupancy, and will be communicated in advance via the schedule.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.25–$20.00/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Morning shifts — rotating availability required across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday)
