Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The applicant MUST hold a medical degree (including MD, MBBS, MBChB) or physician assistant qualification/education in Ontario. International medical graduates are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient medical histories
Collect and analyze data related to patient health, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Accuro and Epic.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Participate in research initiatives to improve patient care practices and outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with medical regulations.
Skills
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to various healthcare settings, including hospitals and home care environments.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Accuro and/or Epic, for effective documentation and communication.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams.
