Overview
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations by providing outstanding service, supporting food preparation, and maintaining a welcoming setting. This paid position offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic, customer-focused setting.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
Take and process customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve food and beverages following established standards for quality and presentation
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and hygiene procedures
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and cooking assistance as needed
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions
Supervise junior team members,



providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery

Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
Solid knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including supervising and interviewing staff
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
Familiarity with food handling procedures, kitchen operations, and restaurant experience
Barista experience or hotel experience is a plus for versatile service capabilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
