Job Description

TRC Solar Inc. is looking for hardworking and reliable Solar Installers - Telehandler Operators to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation of commercial and industrial solar panel systems on rooftops and other project sites.

The work is physical, hands-on, and performed outdoors. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and using handheld power tools.

Responsibilities
Able to comfortably operate telehandler for daily operations
Assist with the installation of solar panels, racking, wiring, and related equipment
Carry and move heavy solar materials and equipment in office
Use handheld power tools such as drills, impact drivers, grinders, and other basic tools
Work safely on rooftops and elevated areas
Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific safety rules

Requirements




Comfortable with Heavy Machinery Equipment - Telehandler certification, scissor lift certification
Must be comfortable working at heights
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials
Experience using handheld power tools is preferred
Construction, roofing, electrical, or solar experience is an asset
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Must be willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Working at Heights certification
Valid driver’s license is an asset

Pay

$22–$25per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Schedule
Day shift
Weekend work may be required depending on project schedule
