As a Cashier, you play an important role in providing customers with a positive checkout experience in a friendly, efficient, and welcoming environment. You will support daily store operations by accurately processing transactions, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area while following cash handling and store policies. Familiarity with a wide variety of products, along with the ability to promote items and support sales, is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Handle cash with care, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Provide product demonstrations and promote sales to enhance customer experience.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed.





Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Robust cash handling skills with attention to detail.
Excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus but not required, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
Familiarity with Western and Asian grocery products is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
