Backwoods Security Services is currently seeking an experienced Security Guard for patrols in/around Fort St. John, BC.

Where: Fort St. John, BC and surrounding area

Wage: $23.00 / Hour

Shift: Days/Nights; 12-hour shifts (mix of days and nights; start on dayshift for 1 day then move to nights)

Rotation: 8 days on, 6 days off

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Maintain a secure and secure workplace for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises
Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
Access Control: Permit authorized persons entry to site when required
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain if necessary
Complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA’s) and Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR’s) and Incident Reports (IR’s) when required
Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually on site

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
1-year experience Industrial Security settings
Valid BC Security Guard License
Standard First Aid with CPR (asset) or OFA Level 2, CSTS2020, WHMIS2015
Class 5 Driver's License with 3 Year Personal Drivers Abstract (less than 6 demerits)
Objectivity, emotional control and dependability
Able to follow complex instructions, both written and verbal
Knowledgeable about security operations and procedures
