Responsibilities
Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded throughout their visit
Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and payment processing
Support team collaboration by sharing knowledge,
mentoring junior stylists, and fostering a positive work environment
Requirements
Proven experience as a senior hairdresser or stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in hair styling techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
Strong communication skills to clearly explain styling options and maintenance tips
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client rapport
Experience with retail sales, front desk operations, and appointment management preferred
A professional attitude with a passion for staying current on industry trends and techniques
