We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction management team. This role involves executing high-quality painting work on various construction projects while supporting project coordination and oversight. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills, experience in construction environments, and familiarity with industry-standard software tools. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting
Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail
Follow project specifications, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate application of finishes
Assist in reviewing project plans and schematics to support project planning and execution
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards
Support quality control processes by inspecting work for consistency and adherence to safety protocols
Maintain a clean work workplace and properly store tools and materials
Use construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6 for documentation and communication purposes
Requirements
Proven experience in painting within construction or industrial environments
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
Supervising experience on construction sites is preferred
Solid understanding of quality control standards and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans
Construction experience with an understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
