Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair, providing a valuable foundation for a future career in the plumbing and construction industries. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for skilled growth. Responsibilities
Assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install piping and fixtures
Support the setup of plumbing components according to specifications and schematics
Perform basic maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment and systems
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Participate in training sessions to develop skills such as welding, carpentry, HVAC basics,
and system troubleshooting
Assist with the assembly of plumbing parts and components as directed by senior team members
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and construction trades
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations
Understanding of schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems is a plus
Experience or knowledge in carpentry or welding is beneficial but not required
Robust attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
Positive communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
Willingness to learn new skills such as assembly techniques, system troubleshooting, and safety procedures
