Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painting Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of painting projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while delivering high-quality workmanship. The Painting Contractor will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Execute restoration projects to enhance the appearance of existing structures.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on color selection and finishes.
Use hand tools and caulking techniques to ensure a smooth finish on all projects.
Rig and set up scaffolding or ladders as needed for high or difficult-to-reach areas.
Maintain a clean and organized work setting throughout the duration of each project.




Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working workplace for yourself and others.

Skills
Proficient in commercial painting techniques with an emphasis on quality finishes.
Experience in residential painting projects with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of industrial painting processes and materials.
Solid communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Ability to build rapport with clients through excellent customer service.
Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in the painting profession.
Capable of performing caulking tasks to ensure proper sealing of surfaces.
Understanding of construction painting practices and safety regulations.
