Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering (15+ years) to define and scale enterprise-wide quality engineering systems Join a high-impact engineering leadership team within a leading Canadian financial organization driving transformation in how quality engineering operates at scale.

This senior role defines the technical strategy, architecture, and system design that underpin consistent, productive, and high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.

You will influence senior stakeholders and guide teams to adopt emerging approaches such as API-first and agentic automation.

This position offers enterprise-level visibility and ownership over the long-term direction of the quality engineering practice.

Working Hours: PST Must Haves 15+ years in software engineering , quality engineering , or related leadership roles Experience defining technical strategy and automation architecture across multiple teams or workstreams Proven ability to design API-first , layered testing systems integrated with CI/CD models Solid understanding of performance , reliability ,



and security testing across enterprise platforms Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field Nice to Have Experience implementing AI-driven or agentic automation approaches Background in financial services or complex enterprise environments Exposure to QE or engineering transformation initiatives Track record defining organization-wide quality KPIs and metrics Responsibilities Define and scale the enterprise quality engineering system across multiple workstreams Develop and drive actionable technical strategy aligned with business goals Establish architecture, standards, and frameworks for consistent quality engineering practices Make critical decisions on automation architecture, tooling strategy, and testing approach evolution Provide engineering direction to Managers and teams, shaping long-term quality engineering evolution Influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Delivery functions Ensure scalability, maintainability, and efficiency of the QE system supporting sustainable delivery
