Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookseller/Receiver to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about books and customer service, with the ability to efficiently manage inventory and assist customers in finding their next outstanding read. This role involves working in a dynamic workplace that requires organizational skills, familiarity with POS/Inventory management systems, and the ability to handle various logistical tasks. Prior experience in bookstores, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment is a plus. The Bookseller will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within our store and receiving areas, supporting both sales and inventory management processes.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in locating books and provide excellent customer service
Manage inventory using Bookmanager
Maintain organized shelving and stock levels throughout the store.
Support order fulfillment processes for e-commerce orders, including packaging and labeling
Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, order calculations, and pricing adjustments
Ensure safety procedures are followed during all activities
Experience
Must be passionate about reading and recommending books.
Basic math skills are necessary for inventory counts and order processing
Prior work in retail or bookstore environments is beneficial but not required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
