We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through various gardening, horticulture, and construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Responsibilities
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
Operate machinery such as ride on mowers, pushmowers/ skidsteers
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscaping projects and general maintenance
Assist with construction activities related to landscape projects, including soil preparation, planting beds, and hardscaping
Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
Maintain equipment through basic mechanical knowledge to ensure proper functioning
Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold high-quality standards
Experience
Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not a necessity.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery operation
Experience working with horticultural plants and understanding of plant health care is advantageous
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
Solid mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs

Pay: $16.51-$25.00 per hour
