Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a rapid-paced setting. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Toast POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces
Handle food safely following proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines
Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




Restock supplies and ensure all products are properly stored and labeled
Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations

Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Smothies experience is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and POS transactions
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Toast POS, is a plus
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques
Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
