Knowledge / Skills / Duties
Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks




Perform miscellaneous and critical tasks underground including but not limited to the following:
Delivery and pick up of equipment such as tools, explosives, piping, services etc. that is required for the smooth operation of the underground mine
Delivery and pick up of underground personnel
Removal of waste items from underground workings to waste dumps
Assist Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing as required
Set up headings with bolt and mesh, and assist other service crew when possible
Undertake other duties as lawfully instructed
Lock-out and tag out as per regulatory bodies and company policies

Teamwork
Work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals – both within own department and site wide.
Leverage the talent and knowledge within the team to resolve problems.
Follow instructions as per SOPs, guidelines and those provided by the shift supervisor

Planning & Organisation
Prioritise and complete tasks accurately as to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within required timeframes.
Proactively identify and address hazards before they arise as issues.

Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.
