Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our energetic culinary team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
Cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring quality and presentation
Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure all food served meets quality standards and is delivered in a timely manner




Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Basic understanding of food industry practices related to meal preparation and food handling
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and/or weekends.
