Position Scope NACG are seeking HAUL TRUCK OPERATORS to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area. This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $53.66/hour as well as room for growth! Where You’ll Be Working Site: Kearl Schedule: 14 x 14, 12-hour days (paid lunch). 14 days on, 14 off. 14 nights on, 14 off. Accommodations: Camp accommodation is provided. Transportation: Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after rotation). Overtime: Currently at Kearl they have blended rates with no overtime . We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. PPE provided, just bring your own CSA certified steel toed boots Room for growth and future advancements Responsibilities Operate rigid frame haul trucks ranging from 100-ton to 400-ton and 60T articulating ultra-class trucks in a mining or heavy construction earthworks environment Complete pre-use equipment inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition Complete field level risk/hazard assessments prior to task and as task changes Participate in the safe fueling and servicing of equipment Interact with loading and dumping equipment Follow mine driving rules Interact with other contractor and client equipment Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards,



and procedures Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including all required PPE Reviewing safe work plans/ hazard assessment with prior to job commencement and follow all requirements Report any necessary repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors Report all incidents, near misses or damage immediately Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience running a rigid frame haul truck ranging in size from 100-ton to 400-ton and 60T articulating ultra-class haul trucks; including mechanical (Caterpillar) or electric (Komatsu) style trucks Minimum one year experience in a mining or heavy construction earthworks workplace preferred Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable drivers abstract (pulled within 30 days) Must be proficient in English, both verbal and written CSO Certification Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness or Energy Safety Canada Wildlife Awareness (including Bear Awareness) Must be clean shaven or ensure facial hair and jewelry does not affect the fit of respiratory protective equipment (required at select sites) High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset North American Construction Group is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive work environment where every employee feels safe, valued, and respected.
