Position Details
Position: Part-Time After School Teacher
Location: B&D; Montessori Learning Academy
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Part time
Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities
Supervise and care for school-age children after school.
Assist children with homework and encourage positive study habits.
Plan and lead engaging activities, including arts and crafts, games, STEM activities, outdoor play, and group projects.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and welcoming classroom environment.
Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff members.
Follow all licensing regulations and school policies.

Qualifications
Experience working with children is preferred.
Responsible, reliable, and enthusiastic.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Valid Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
ECE, ECEA, Responsible Adult certification, or relevant childcare experience is an asset.

Pay: $18.25-$34.85 per hour
