Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate client case files and legal documentation
Assist with immigration, refugee, and appeal applications
Conduct client interviews and gather supporting documentation
Draft forms, legal correspondence, and case submissions
Coordinate with clients regarding deadlines, appointments, and case updates
Research immigration policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Ensure compliance with legal and administrative standards
Provide administrative support to legal representatives as needed
Requirements
1–2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in immigration services
Proven clerical or administrative experience with solid organizational skills.
Excellent writing skills, including legal drafting and report writing capabilities.
Proficiency in data entry, filing systems, and document management software like iManage.
Solid interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively with attention to detail.
Experience with project management is a plus.
Familiarity with proofreading techniques to ensure accuracy in all written materials.
