We are hiring for a company in the Manufacturing Industry with an immediate opening for Aluminum Welders and Welder Fitters in Brampton, ON.

Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Rates for Aluminum Welders: $28 -$30 / hour
Rates for Welder Fitters: $30 - $35 / hour

Responsibilities:
Hold valid Weld certificate in GMAW/FCAW AND GTAW
Fit/Weld Aluminum and Steel /Stainless
Read manufacturing drawings/prints
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
Follow drawings to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Complete accurate cutting of materials
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Weld and Fit up Aluminum/steel /and stainless steel Metal railing
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse Aluminum segments using MIG pulse welding technology
Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
Operate manual and electric hand tools
Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
Support repairs and install teams as required

Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
5 years' experience as a Welder
Experience in MIG and TIG welding




MUST have experience with welding aluminum
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Willing to work overtime as required
Must own reliable transportation and hold a valid driver's license
Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Highly versatile, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Able to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
Physical ability to lift to 50lbs
Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
Extremely busy environment - must be able to work with little supervision
Must be able to stay focused on the task at hand
Hazards associated with the trade
