Our client, a specialist in metal surface finishing, is looking for a Senior Chemist.

Manage processes, adjust parameters, validate deposition rates (electroless nickel), and manage MTO cycles; Develop recent processes and tooling for complex parts; Manage chemicals (inventory, orders, etc.) and validate equipment; Oversee tank additions and configure measurement tools (XRF); Validate critical parts (contract review, inspection) and manage non-conformities (investigations and corrective actions); Act as resource for technical questions, validate project feasibility and assist with cost estimates; Manage the waste lifecycle (identification, record-keeping, Stablex reports)



and prepare the annual report for the Ministry of the Setting; Ensure the proper operation of water treatment systems and act as the technical liaison with the City of Laval (sampling, effluent compliance, etc.); Provide technical and SIMDUT training to staff.

Requirements: Bachelor''s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field; At least 8 years of experience in surface treatment (metals: gold, silver, nickel, zinc, or aluminum); Valuable knowledge of surface treatment processes and in electrochemistry; Experience with X-ray machines; French, English (suppliers in US).
