JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Student Project Coordinator Co‑op to join our team. This position provides a unique opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience supporting project management activities from pre‑construction through to project close‑out. You’ll work closely with project managers, site staff, subcontractors, and consultants to help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assisting with documentation, project scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Helping to prepare and maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, site instructions, and change orders.




- Supporting project reporting through the preparation of meeting minutes, progress updates, and cost tracking.
- Assisting in reviewing and tracking construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Liaising with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project communication.
- Helping with procurement tracking and expediting material deliveries.
- Contributing to project close‑out tasks including compiling as‑built drawings and turnover documentation.
- Ensuring project files and digital records are organized and up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Project) is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Team player with a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and possess a valid driver's license (if travel to site is required)

Duration: 4 to 8 MONTH CO-OP OPTION

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.00 to $23.00, based on your experience and qualifications.
