In your role as the Food and Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Food Services Department. This includes conducting in-depth nutritional assessments and supporting the Food Committee. Engage continuously with residents and their families to cater to their specific dietary needs and ensure that they enjoy acceptable meal options.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the management of Food and Nutrition Services
Carry out quarterly nutritional assessments for residents
Chair the Food Committee and foster family involvement
Visit residents during meals to gauge food satisfaction
Collaborate on personalized nutrition care approaches
Requirements:
Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Service Management
Active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management
Current provincial Secure Food Handling Certificate necessary
Experience in healthcare settings preferred
Robust interpersonal and organizational skills required
