Become an integral part of our operations as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. Specialize in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will perform a variety of tasks including troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your technical expertise will support the upkeep of a diverse fleet for optimal performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on machinery
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate repair and service documentation
• Operate hoists and lift devices safely
• Assist apprentices and less experienced staff
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
• Valid license in positive standing is necessary
• Solid mechanical knowledge is a must
• Effective spoken and written communication
• Truck and Coach Service License considered a plus
