Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia. We are currently seeking a Custodian Services Technician to support our Atlantic Operations. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Site Project Superintendent and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity

- Ensuring own Health & Safety as well as that of all other workers, identifying and maintaining safe work practices and completing all required safety training.
- Emptying garbage bins on a regular basis
- Ensuring washrooms are clean and well stocked with necessary supplies
- Adhering to cleaning schedules set forth by management
- Ensuring wet floor signs are put in the proper place after mopping the floor
- Ensuring that cleaning tasks are executed in a timely and orderly manner
- Working as part of a team to execute cleaning duties
- Reporting any repairs to site services technicians so they can make the necessary repairs
- Reporting any health and safety hazards or violations to health and safety officers
- Maintaining a proper inventory of cleaning supplies and materials needed





Our Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following

- Unencumbered Class 5 driver's license
- Behaviour consistent with St Barbara’s Values
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- At least 1-year experience in a custodian role
