Platform Engineering Manager - Trust Infrastructure at NexHealth. About the role NexHealth is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead our Trust Infrastructure team. What you’ll do

- Lead a talented team of engineers focused on the development and maintenance of our Trust Infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for platform reliability and security.
- Drive the architectural vision for our infrastructure, focusing on scalability and resilience to meet the growing demands of our users.
- Oversee the deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components, ensuring they align with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering team.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process and enhance deployment efficiency.
- Analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of the platform.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the engineering team.




- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains competitive and innovative.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to improve system reliability and prevent future issues.
- Advocate for a security-first approach in all engineering practices, ensuring that our platform remains secure against evolving threats.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes that enhance team productivity and system performance.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field, with a focus on infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and their application in production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, demonstrating a commitment to automation and efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills,



with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

- Experience in the healthcare technology sector, particularly in building solutions for healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, and their application in infrastructure management.
- Previous experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
