this could be the opportunity for you. Based in Prince George, BC, you'll work alongside a skilled team supporting mining operations across Canada and the USA. Every day brings a new challenge—from troubleshooting and repairs to commissioning and maintenance—all while putting safety, quality, and customer service first.Reports to:Field SupervisorShift:7x7, 12h/day rotation of days and nightsSafety Sensitive:Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be requiredTravel:up to 75% within Canada and the USARelocation:This position does not offer relocationKey Job ResponsibilitiesInspect, maintain, repair, and service heavy mining equipment in shop and field environmentsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issuesDisassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble components to OEM specificationsAlign, level, test, and commission equipment using precision measurement toolsComplete accurate work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance documentationWork independently in the field while supporting apprentices and fellow tradespeople as part of a collaborative teamQualifications/RequirementsJourneyperson Millwright certification (Red Seal preferred)3-5 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, construction, or related industriesExperience working with mining equipment and P&H mining productsStrong troubleshooting skills with proven experience diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAbility to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specificationsCustomer-focused mindset with experience working directly with clients on-siteAble to safely lift 50lbs. unassistedMust have no restrictions to access any mine siteBasic welding, cutting,
